Wow! Life sure has changed in the last 10 or so years! I don't believe I even got on the net until after I was married. Even then it was very minimal. Now it seems that if I cant check my email or update my blog or log on to FB , I'm lost and can't seem to function! So for all of you "sweet loving people" who have been hounding me to update here I am. I will not mention any names but she is my dearest mother! "hmm hmm" We have been very busy since leaving Tn and traveled many miles. We have been to Fl and are now in Tx. I do believe that one of the Ten Plagues in the OT had to be sand gnats! If they wasn't they sure should have been! When me and the kids left Fl we looked like we had the chicken pocks, our legs and arms were eat to pieces! Michael must have stunk because they didn't bother him to bad (LOL). Other than that and the fact that we have no cell service and no net in Horse Shoe our visit there was very nice! Revival with the Butlers was very good also. Then we moved on to Dundee Fl which is about a half an hour past Orlando. We had four services there with Bro. Watson and visited another church in Arbondale for an ALJC conference they were having and heard two wonderful messages by Bro. Hammond from Ga. From there we left on Wednesday and headed to Tx it was a total of 1038 miles from Dundee to Clutte. We made several stops along the way, my favorite was Foley Al. We stayed at a small campground that also had a 9 hole par 3 golf course. We arrived late afternoon and was able to play 18 holes before dark. What a fun family outing. I even beat Michael :) How sweet the taste of victory! This was Thursday evening and Saturday was Rebekah's 8th birthday and Foley has a Lambert's Cafe, so guess where we ate supper! You got it the home of the Great throwed rolls! It was delicious!!!! Then we took a short drive down to the beaches of Gulfport Al. Beautiful even by the moon light! The kids played in the sand and we all walked down to the water. The winds were ferocious. All together it made a nice mini vacation. Then it was back to I-10 ( I will elaborate later) for the rest of the trip. Thank You Jesus for keeping your protecting angels around us and our home. I am very thankful and blessed. We made it to Clutte before lunch on Saturday and spent the rest of the day celebrating my sweet princess birthday! She got a new bike from mom, dad and bubba and some twinkle toes from Normie and a dress from the Mo's. We went bowling and ate at El Toro! She had a wonderful time!
On another note, I promised an update on the yellow bug. It is coming I promise, as soon as I can find the the memory card and reader from our camera. So for now you will have to suffer and keep on looking at the slide of the kids. So sorry! Now that we will be stationed here for awhile I have full computer access at the library, which is very close and will hopefully be updating more often. Maybe I said Maybe! Be Blessed!
